Rules of communication

• If you want to subject the puppy or the adult dog (on condition that you have first confirmed your control on it), take it by the neck, like the mother does with its puppies. The fact of looking a dog straight in the eyes is for it a sign of challenge.

• Some stimili outsides as hats, uniforms, overall or quitte other strange dress, can arouse a reaction of flight or agression to the dog.

•It is possible that the dog reacts badly to some stimuli apparently neutral, at least with the eyes of the man. This can be partially due to a negative and traumatizing experience for the dog.

• Never approach a dog which you do not know by having the raised arms, by gesturing in every directions … The dog could interpret as an ill-intentioned gesture.

• Any order given must imperatively be given in the same way. If they are several masters, take care that each one agrees on the orders.

• The rewards as the reprimands (never too severe!) are effective only if they are immediate.

• The communication between the dog and the child is made, generally, rather quickly. However it's better to watch them to avoid quite regrettable incident. A child is not always soft with animals..
