General aspect
Sturdy dog with a medium to high size, excellent dog of defence, very affectionate, well marked character.
Head and skull
Strong. Wide skull between ears. Stop well marked. Rectilinear and wide chamfer on the base. Well developed truffle and always black. Wide and powerful jaws. Black and well squeezed lips. Gums as dark as possible. Powerful neck. Medium, Hanging and triangular ears, spaced out one of the other one.
Body
Straight and powerful back. Short, strong and high kidneys. Wide croup and slightly rounded off. Spacious and well developed breast.
Members
Muscles well developed. Feet circles, tight and bent fingers. Black nails.
Speed(Look)
Trotting dog. Harmonious, powerful and loosened step with a good amplitude.
Dress
Black with bounded well supported fire marks under cheeks, snout, top of the neck, breast, legs, above eyes and under the tail. Covered with hairs and subhairs. The hair is of medium length, hard in the touch, smooth, tight and slept. Subhair cannot exceed the hair.
Size and weight
Male: height in the withers of 61cm to 68cm for a weight of +/-50Kg
Female: Height in the withers of 56cm to 63cm for a weight of +/-42Kg
Defaults
As my Rotts make no competition, for me they have none and I love them such as they are;-).
The only thing they miss is the word.
